The Procurement Bill 2023 receives Royal Assent:

On October 26th 2023 the Procurement Bill received Royal Assent, which was the final stage of the process. This means that the bill is now an Act of Parliament (law). The Act has not yet come into force; section 126 gives the government the power to set the date when the Act will go live (and indeed to bring different parts of the Act into force at different times). The latest statement from the government suggests an initial go live date in October 2024. The GCF have provided a readiness kit that can be located through the CCF FutureNHS workspace.
