NHS Supplier Carbon Reduction Plan Requirements - Guidance Publication and Support Available

The next key milestone on the Net Zero Supplier Roadmap came in to force on 1 April 2023. This states the need for all new contracts with the NHS, above £5 million per annum, will require suppliers to publish a carbon reduction plan for their UK Scope 1 and 2 emissions and a subset of scope 3 emissions as a minimum (aligning with the UK Government’s PPN 06/21).

There is support available for both NHS organisations and suppliers:
