Procurement Bill Checklist published

The Government Commercial Function have published a planning and preparation checklist as part of the Procurement Bill to Transform Public Procurement. The checklist outlines steps contracting authorities can take to help prepare for the forthcoming changes to the procurement regulations.

Contracting authorities can start planning now to ensure they are ready to take advantage of the new regime. The short checklist provides initial actions in four key areas - policies and processes, systems, people, and transition - where early consideration will help contracting authorities with their preparation.
