Greening the Business Case

Today NHS Estates and Facilities have published ‘Greening the Business Case’ guidance, to support estates and facilities teams to make the case for green investment. The guide also showcases the benefits of investing in low and zero carbon technologies, including:

• money saving through reduced energy costs
• reducing patient disruption and improving patient outcomes
• Increase energy resilience and reduce future risk of weather impacts
• creating jobs in the low carbon economy
• reducing climate-driven health inequalities
