Benefits of using the Framework
There are numerous benefits of awarding contracts under a framework, these include:
- Compliance with all procurement regulations
- Transparency in fee rates
- There is no need to reassess framework suppliers against criteria such as net zero/social value requirements, financial standing or business probity as these have been assessed during the procurement of the framework agreement.
- The call-off contract terms and conditions have already been agreed with all framework suppliers so no further legal dialogue is required.
- Customers are able to direct award or run a further competition to select suppliers.
- Participating Authorities are entitled to minimum initial free of charge consultation totalling 120 minutes as standard at senior associate or above, either written or verbal to discuss new legal matters only.
- Fixed cost schedule for potential activities across various categories and duration
