Becoming a Supplier

How we work

We work on behalf of our members and other public sector organisations to award contracts for products and services. As these contracts are for use in the public sector, EU procurement directives direct the steps we must take to promote competition and transparency.

Contracts we offer

We generally award two types of contract:

  • Framework agreement – A framework agreement lists organisations that have been assessed to deliver products and services based on quality and commercial criteria. Most of our framework agreements offer our customers an opportunity to call off services directly (without a further competition) or hold a further competition with this exclusive list of suppliers. This route to market offers both suppliers and customers reduced procurement time and cost.
  • Single Supplier contract –  If there is no framework agreement avaliable or the service required is unique, we will go out to market for a single supplier contract.

How do I become a Supplier?

To be considered for a contract or position on a framework agreement or single supplier contract. You must:

1.      Express an interest following instructions given on the contract notice.

2.      Complete all stages of the procurement process

Where can I hear about new business opportunities?

There are a number of ways to find opportunities to tender for government and public sector business:

Register with Contracts Finder and Tenders Electronic Daily (TED) for alerts relevant to your business area.

  • TED is the online version of the Official Journal of the European Union.
  • Contracts Finder shows all public sector tenders with a value of more than £10,000. It is automatically updated every weekday night with new notices published on TED.
  • NHS Commercial Solutions' BravoSolution e-tendering portal

Can my business become a supplier to an existing framework agreement?

At present none of our frameworks allow for additional suppliers to be added once a framework agreement has been awarded. However, we are always awarding new frameworks/contract opportunites for your organisation to join.
