Digital Dictation Framework Awarded

NHS Commercial Solutions, on behalf of the NHS Commercial Alliance, has awarded its framework for digital dictation, speech recognition and outsourced transcription. The technology provides NHS Trusts with the ability to maximise secretarial efficiency, improve turnaround time of GP letters, eliminate transcription backlog and reduce hidden costs.

NHS Commercial Solutions recommends that the framework is accessed through a managed procurement option, in which NHS Commercial Solutions will assist NHS Trusts in procuring a solution that matches the Trusts’ specific requirement. NHS Commercial Solutions offers support in producing specifications, business cases and facilitate the mini-competition by seeking bids from suppliers and assisting the evaluation and award process.
