Benefits of using the Framework
The purpose of this free to access Framework Agreement which is available to all NHS organisations in England, Scotland, Northern Ireland, and Wales, local authorities, public services organisations, social enterprises, and Community Interest Companies (CICs), is to enable access to a range of pre-tendered professional services to deliver maintenance, repair, audit, documentation, quality management and support of electrical and biomedical equipment. The framework is designed to ensure the safe, effective, and continuous operation of clinical and non-clinical systems that are critical to patient care, regulatory compliance, and operational resilience.
Lot Structure
The Framework has been structured to incorporate 8 (eight) lots, which are:
Lot 1: Equipment Maintenance
Lot 2: Equipment Repair
Lot 3: Equipment Management
Lot 4: Safety Audits
Lot 5: Training
Lot 6: Quality Management
Lot 7: Document Control
Lot 8: Bespoke
Call-off type
When calling-off under this Framework Agreement, Contracting Authorities can either run Direct Award or run a mini competition which is permissible across all lots.
