This December for thr HFMA annual conference is where we will come together to discuss and learn about the upcoming opportunities and challenges facing the NHS finance sector..

What can you expect at the conference? 

Throughout the conference we will look at the future of healthcare, including the hot topics that will shape its evolution and how we need to adjust strategies to meet the changes. 

Within this, our programme will cover environment sustainability, diversity and inclusion, health inequalities, and digital transformation as well as hearing case studies from around the NHS. We will also be hearing leading voices outside of healthcare namely Chris Lubbe, Beth Rigby and Steven Bartlett. 

This year’s theme 

The theme for the annual conference this year, and our 2022-2023 presidential theme, is Strength in numbers. This focuses on reasserting the influence of the finance function on discussions throughout the NHS to deliver effective and sustainable patient services. It also emphasises our continued mission to strengthen the HFMA member network and grow a diverse and inclusive membership that fully represents the healthcare finance community at all band levels.
