Clare Martin Appointed as Procurement Director – A Key Step in Our Strategic Journey

Message from Alyson Brett, Managing Director: I want to update on a key change in NHS Commercial Solutions (NHSCS) with the appointment of Clare Martin as our permanent Procurement Director.

Clare joined me in an interim capacity as Procurement Director at NHSCS in February this year and has already become a familiar and trusted face to our members and customers. Previously, Clare led the NHSCS Integrated Procurement Service as our Associate Director of Procurement for Surrey and Borders Partnership NHS Foundation Trust and Sussex Partnership NHS Foundation Trust where she gained frontline NHS procurement experience.

With over 20 years of extensive experience in the NHS and public sector procurement, commercial strategy, and transformation, her expertise and collaborative approach will play a vital role in delivering innovation and efficiency for our members and customers.

My congratulations to Clare, and I am looking forward to working with her as part of the senior leadership team, developing the next chapter of our journey in NHSCS.
